State Ranking FAQ
What do I need to be ranked?
You need to sign up, enter your WCA ID, and mark that you want to be shown on the map. Update your Preferences to check these settings.
What if I don't want to let people know my town?
Then pick a city near you.
Hey, it has me ranked #1 in my state, but I know someone who's faster. Why is that?
This only ranks you against other people who have registered on CubingUSA and chosen to be shown.
When are rankings updated?
Rankings are updated once a month when the WCA puts the new data.
I competed last week and it doesn't show me.
If it's your first competition, you won't show up until the next month's data.
What's my WCA ID?
Go to WCA's site and search for your name. Click on your name and your WCA ID will be under "Details".
I have an awesome average, but I can't go to a competition. Can I e-mail you my times?
No. State rankings are based on WCA competition data.
